Rates of asthma exacerbations and mortality and associated factors in Uganda: A 2-year prospective cohort study

This was a prospective cohort study that examined the rates and predictors of disease exacerbations and mortality in 449 patients with asthma in Uganda. Pulmonary function was evaluated using a Vitalograph Pneumotrac spirometer in combination with Spirotrac software.
